Notice: Summer Shipping

Due to the extreme heat and the fact that our products will melt extremely rapidly, we have disabled the online purchasing option for general use. Our highest priority is making sure the products you order arrive to you in complete and un-melted condition, so precautions are vital.

When the temperature gets back in to the 80’s, we will then be able to ship our products again.

If you would like to ship our products to a destination that is below 90 degrees, please contact us at 610-395-3221 to make special arrangements.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

 

Each order is hand packed and shipped via UPS or USPS. Ground shipping transit time does not include weekends or holidays and are estimates. Holidays, inclement weather, natural disasters, and other unforeseen delays rarely occur but can affect your delivery date. All packages ship from The Shoppes Of Premise Maid in Breinigsville Pennsylvania.

 

Shipping and handling charges are based upon each recipient’s total candy order per location. If you are shipping to multiple addresses the shipping is charged according to each address order total.

SHIPPING DEADLINES

Order processing time may take up to three business days, sometimes longer leading up to major holidays.  Timely delivery is optimized when orders are placed 10+ business days prior to a holiday. Orders received by 1:00 pm EST Monday thru Wednesday will ship within one to three business days(weather permitting). Orders received after 1:00pm EST or on weekends will be processed the following business weekday

Lost Or Stolen Packages

The Shoppes Of Premise Maid is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered for an order. Upon inquiry, The Shoppes Of Premise Maid will confirm delivery to the provided address, date of delivery, tracking information and shipping carrier information for the customer to investigate.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please check all address information carefully. We want your recipient to receive their chocolates as much as you do. We do our best to contact you if we happen across an “undeliverable address”. We define an “undeliverable address” as one that is not recognized by the UPS or USPS shipping system, and therefore would not be delivered by UPS or USPS upon reaching the location. However, The Shoppes Of Premise Maid is not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the customer. As a result, if an undeliverable address or inaccurate shipping information is provided, The Shoppes of Premise Maid is not responsible for the unreceived item. If UPS is unable to deliver an order based on inaccurate information provided by the customer, the package is disposed of by UPS or USPS. In the instance that the customer would like the package to be redelivered they must place a new order. Please note: P.O. Boxes and APO Boxes are not acceptable shipping addresses and therefore are not recognized by UPS to deliver to.

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING DETAILS

From May through the end of September, Our warm weather shipping policy is applied in order that our temperature sensitive items arrive in the best condition possible. This policy will automatically include a warm weather service fee at checkout to orders that require it. Orders shipped to or traveling through areas that are over 74 degrees will be charged the warm weather fee per address. This cost covers the use of specially made shipping coolers with ice pack inserts. Our website will automatically apply the correct charges per shipping destination.

For destinations over 74 degrees, your order may need to be held over the weekend and ship on the following Monday. When temperatures reach over 90 degrees, we will hold the order until the weather is cool enough to ship out so that the sensitive items do not melt en route. Please provide an address where someone will be able to receive the order. Chocolate left outdoors will melt in warm climate destinations.

We carefully inspect every item before shipping.  Please report any damage upon receipt.  If your product is received damaged, please contact us within 24 hours for return instructions.  Returned product must be in unused, and uneaten condition for refund.
