Can you make a donation to my charity event?

As a Lehigh Valley based, family owned business, we are honored to be able to give back to the community that we call home. Although we would like to honor all request we receive thousands of solicitations for donations annually and we would love to be able to help everyone. Here at Premise Maid, we make donations that are directly associated with the Premise Maid family of employees. We wish you the best with your fundraising efforts!

How does The Shoppes Of Premise Maid differ from other chocolate companies?

Premise Maid's confections is a premium handcrafted chocolatier for over 45 years. Unlike many chocolate companies, our selections are still made in small batches, using traditional methods passed down from generation to generation by the Damiano family. We pride ourselves on our ability to blend a rich tradition with a spirit of innovation, and we do not sacrifice quality ingredients, taste or craftsmanship to produce more confections at a lower cost.

Why can't I have a torte cake ready for me in an hour?

Everyday, we have freshly baked torte cakes available in our case for those last-minute special occasions. However, all our items are baked from scratch and made to order, so calling ahead is necessary. Please allow 72 hours for special orders.

How long will the Torte Cakes stay fresh?

These items will stay fresh for about two days in the refrigerator - if you can wait that long to eat them!

Do you ship your bakery or ice cream desserts?

We wish we could! Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of our desserts and our commitment to quality, we are unable to ship them.

Are you a peanut free environment?

While some of our items contain peanuts or peanut butter, our pans and equipment are used interchangeably. Therefore, our desserts (chocolates, ice cream and bakery items) are not suitable for people with peanut allergies.

Where did the name Premise Maid come from?

It's very tempting to leave it a mystery but we won't. Almost all our candies are made on the premises therefore explaining the mystery of the name Premise Maid Candies.

Do you offer tours of your factory?

At this time, we do not offer tours of our chocolate, bakery or ice cream facility.

How should I store my chocolates?

Store your chocolates at room temperature, ideally between 65-72 degrees. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, heat sources and strong odors. Do not refrigerate. Seal in an airtight container or wrap with plastic wrap.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use USPS for all P.O. Box orders. We use select Ground and Air Carriers to deliver all other packages. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. It is up to the discretion of The Shoppes Of Premise Maid which carrier will be selected.
